①Initialize
Select Reset frum FUNCTION menu to initialize the unit.
There are also “All Peak Clear” and “All Graph Memory Clear” to clear the value. Note
This section explains about initial setup. If only minimum function of R-Vit DS is required,
please follow instruction number ①,②,③,⑤,⑥,⑨

②Select vehicle type
Select Vehicle type (refer to application list) from “Car Type” in the CALIBRATION menu.
Although R-Vit automatically detects the vehicle and configures itself, manual setup is required on some vehicle types.
In such case, please setup as above.

③Fuel Mileage coefficiency setup
Input the fuel mileage coefficiency value on the application list into the CALIBRATION> Mileage Coeffic menu.
④Screen display offset adjustment
Calibrate the display position from Horizontal/Vertical Offset in the CALIBRATION menu to fit the screen.
⑤Progressive/Interlaced (Default: Interlaced)
Choose either Progressive or Interlaced from CALIBRATION menu.
⑥Communication wait time setting
In the COMM Wait menu under CALIBRATION menu, set the value of communication wait time in the vehicle application list.
⑧Sound/ Visual Setup
Setup sound / background color / font color in Sound/Visual Setup menu under FUNCTION menu.
⑨Power up setup
Setup power up method in Auto Power ON menu under FUNCTION menu.
⑩Display language setting
Set the prefered language in Language menu under FUNCTION menu.
Interlaced: Display method of displaying the screen by scanning odd number and even number lines alternatively. (For movies)
Progressive: Non-interlaced. Display method of displaying the entire screen with single scan. (Static pictures, texts) Note

Wait 10 sec, your original
setting will be restored.
Cancel ＯＫ
In case the display flickers, it may improve by adjusting the contrast and/or the color setting of the display.
Display quality can be improved by selecting progressive display mode on some display models.
If below screen does not display after the change, wait for the change is cancelled automatically. (10 secs)

This menu is for use in combination with external add-on devices. Not needed for stand-alone use.
