5. Mounting Copy
- Fig. F
Mount the copy over the top glass by
sliding it beneath the copy clip, which
will anchor your copy in place. Close the
lid and turn the projector on to begin.
Operation
PLEASE NOTE:
• For best results projector and stand
should be used in a darkened room.
• Position projector and stand close to
an electrical receptacle and ensure
that the cord cannot be tripped over
or pulled.
• If an extension cord is necessary, be
sure it has a suitable current rating.
Enlargement and Reduction:
Install the lens in either the enlargement
or reduction position as indicated in Fig.
E. The size and focus of the image is
determined by a combination of raising
or lowering the projector on the stand
and sliding the lens in or out to focus.
For maximum enlargement on the table
top (3x) the stand should be in its upper
most position (do not extend upper
column beyond yellow warning label).
For maximum reduction, the projector
should be near the lowest position.
Varying the height of the projector and
adjusting the lens can achieve nearly
any size. See Fig. E for size limitations.
Floor Projection:
The Prism stand can be rotated
180 degrees to achieve up to 7x
enlargement onto the fl oor (with a
32” table height). Since distance is
determining factor, an increased table
height will produce greater enlargement.
Caution: It is strongly suggested a
support board (approx. 4” x 6” x 3/4”)
be mounted between the table and the
clamp to add support to the table edge
and prevent damage.
