Connections and indicators
SoundGrid ports 1, 2 and 3 A built-in 3-port Gigabit switch for
directly connecting up to three devices on the SoundGrid network.
Ports 2 and 3 provide locking EtherCon RJ45 connectors.
Connect to a SoundGrid server for low latency plugin audio
processing.
Connect to the Ethernet port on a PC or Mac running Waves
MultiRack software to control audio processing in the SoundGrid
server, or for direct to computer recording.
Connect to a Gigabit switch to connect multiple computers and
MultiRack servers. For example, you can connect one computer
running MultiRack software to control the plugin processing, and
another running DAW software for multitrack recording.
Connect to a second SoundGrid server for dual redundancy.
Link status Flashes to
indicate network activity.
Status One LED
indicates that a Gigabit
Ethernet link has been
established. The other
flashes to indicate
network activity on the
SoundGrid 1 port.
