33. Release the spring loaded locking pin under the beam
to move into vertical position. Make sure the log splitter is
either attached to towing vehicle or someone is holding
the hitch against the ground.
34. Without holding the machine in place while positioning
the beam to vertical, the machine is at risk of tipping over.
35. To complete the storage preparation, remove the
hitch pin located at the machine end of the hitch pole.
