• Check before use whether the charge state of the batter-
ies is sufficient or whether the AC adapter is plugged in.
• Pour the liquid to be stirred into a suitable vessel and in-
sert an appropriate magnetic bar. The vessel must be per-
meable to a magnetic field.
• Position the vessel in the middle of the set-up plate.
• Switch on the motor at the rotary knob, the green operat-
ing indicator lights up continuously.
• Set the speed with the rotary knob. Turning to the right
increases the speed, turning to the left decreases the
speed.
• After stirring, turn the rotary knob completely to the left
until it engages audibly and perceptibly. In the left-hand
end position, the motor is switched off and the green
operating indicator is out.
• If the appliance does not function or exhibits inadequate
performance, please check whether
- All the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity,
- The batteries are sufficiently charged.

Recommended batteries:
Mignon rapid-charging (AA) batteries of types
NiCad or NiMh with 1.2 V rated voltage and a
capacity from 1000 mAh to 2700 mAh.

The device is maintenance-free
Only the batteries are wear parts and must be replaced
when necessary. The batteries are worn out when despite
a complete charge, only short operating times are
achieved. Always replace all 4 batteries at the same time.

For cleaning disconnect the plug-in power
supply unit.
Only use cleansing agents which have been recommended
by IKA.

Do not allow moisture to get into the appliance when cleaning.
