Unlatch the right-side side panel in the
cargo area (arrow 1). Pull the knob with
the fuel pump symbol (arrow 2).

1 Remove the interior lamp (refer to
page 158 ), reach into the opening
and push out the panel.
2 Turn the sunroof's steel crank with
the Allen wrench from the onboard
tool kit (refer to page
152 ) in the
desired direction.

1 Fold either the center armrest or the
rear backrest in the back forward.
2 Remove the cover panel under
tailgate 1 (possible by using the igni-
tion key).
3 Press the lever (arrow) to the right.
The luggage compartment is locked
again as soon as you close the tailgate.
