T he Active Control monitors and adjusts
incoming video signals to help provide the
best picture quality.
When you choose to turn the Active Control
ON, the picture sharpness and noise reduc-
tion are controlled automatically. Active
Control adjusts these picture settings continu-
ously and automatically.
You have a choice of 5 modes:
Choose from ACTIVE CONTROL AUTO,
ACTIVE CONTROL MIN, ACTIVE CON-
TROL MED, ACTIVE CONTROL MAX,
ACTIVE CONTROL OFF or ACTIVE CON-
TROL DEMO.
1 Press the ACTIVE CONTROL but-
ton on the remote control to toggle
among the five options and select your
desired mode.
2 Press the STATUS/EXIT button to
remove the menu from the screen.

Toggle the ACTIVE CONTROL to ACTIVE
CONTROL DEMO with the remote control
and a screen display will appear showing pic-
ture quality differences between the Active
Control when ON at the right had side of the
screen and Active Control OFF at the left
hand side of the screen.
