Convenience
Auto Programming
When activated, this feature automatically scans all available channels–
from regular antenna or cable–and programs only active broadcast sta-
tions into memory. CHANNEL▲ or CHANNEL▼ buttons, on the
remote or at the set, will then sequence through only those prepro-
grammed channels.
Alternate Channel
Keep close tabs on 2 different channels with one-button convenience.
Simply select 2 channels using the Channel Scan (CHANNEL▲ or
CHANNEL▼) method or the Direct Access method. Then, using the
ALT.CH button on the remote control, toggle between the programmed
channels.
Closed Caption
Displays dialogue and narratives (on Closed Caption telecasts) without an
external decoding device.
Onscreen Volume Bar
The onscreen volume bar appears when either VOLUME▲ or
VOLUME▼ button is pressed, providing a visual indication of the volume
setting.
Sleep Timer
The Sleep Timer automatically turns off the TV at a preset time of up to
90 minutes from the time the feature is activated. Sleep Timer settings
are programmed in 15-minute increments.
Audio Video Jack Panel
Audio/Video Jack Panel (J700)
The A/V jack panel on the back of this set includes a coaxial RF input for
connection to CATV, CCTV, or indoor/outdoor antenna system.
