Before first use
Note: Your sanitizer may come with the UV light bulb
installed. If this is the case, go on to chapter ‘Preparing
for use’.
1 Place your finger in the door recess on the
right-hand side of the sanitizer and pull open
the door.
Remove the drip tray.
3 Remove the protective screen by gently lifting
it up (1) and pulling it forward (2).
4 Install the UV light bulb by snapping it into the
lamp holder.
Do not crush or break the bulb. UV light bulbs
contain a small amount of mercury.
Note: Use only the UV light bulb supplied or
a replacement UV light bulb ordered from Philips or
Philips Authorized Service Centers.
Note: To remove the UV light bulb, pull it out of the
lamp holder.
Align the pegs on the protective screen
with the slots in the reflective surface of the
sanitizer on either side of the UV light bulb.
