Press the POWER
button
to turn the HDR PTV
ON. (Green Power Light will
display behind the ON button.)
Press the CHANNEL UP
or DOWN (▼) button to select
the desired TV channels.

• Source - Press to cycle through
the TV available inputs (Antenna
A/B tuners and all external inputs.)
• Menu (M) - Press to display the on-
screen control system for the
selected system. (See the On Screen
Features & Monitor Control
Operation sections in the separate
Owner’s Manual for details on the
use and navigation of the menus.)
• CH Up/Down - With a select Menu
system displayed, press to move
through the list of control features.
• VOL Up/Down - With a select
Menu system control displayed,
press to adjust the on-screen feature.
• Exit - Press to display a Status
screen for the selected Menu sys-
tem, or clear the screen following
Menu feature adjustments.
Infrared Remote Sensor Window
Press the VOLUME (+)
UP or VOLUME (-) DOWN
button to adjust the sound level.

Volume buttons
Press to adjust the sound level up (+) and down (-).
Channel Scan buttons
Press to scan Up (+) or Down (-) through programmed channel
numbers.
Power button
Press to turn the PTV ON and OFF.
Sleep button
Press to set the PTV to auto-
matically turn itself OFF. (15
minutes to 2 hours ahead.)
number buttons
Press the number buttons to select channels. Press two
number buttons to select single digit “major” channel num-
bers. For example: press "0" then "6" for channel 6.
Exit button
Press to clear the PTV screen after control adjustments.
Also press to see the current channel number on the
PTV screen.
Surf button
Press Surf to select previously viewed channels. With
the PTV’s “Auto Surf” control ON you can place up to
10 channels in memory. Then by pressing the Surf but-
ton you can quickly view the selected channels. (See the
other owner’s manual for details on how to select a
series of channels using the Surf button.)
Analog Format button
Press to select one of the TV screen display format modes
(i.e. Panoramic, 4:3, 16:9, etc.).
Mute button
Press to turn the sound OFF on the PTV. Press again to return the
sound to its previous level.
Status button
Press to see the current channel number on the PTV screen. Also
press to clear the PTV screen after control adjustments.

display screens of TV related
controls. Use the touchscreen to
access and adjust onscreen fea-
tures for Input selection and Menu
feature adjustments.

Gently tap the Pronto touch-
screen with your finger to display
its control panel for use.
Be sure “HDR PTV” is selected
for the current device tab item cat-
egory.
Refer to the following page for
further details on Pronto Remote
battery installation and
Touchscreen Display use and oper-
ations.

Auto button
Press to select from a list of Auto controls.
Auto Picture for preset levels set for different
types of viewing sources and programs. Auto
Sound to control sound levels during pro-
gram changes or commercial breaks. Auto
Surf to quickly select up to 10 channels. See
the “Auto Features” section in your other
owner’s manual for details.
Status button
Press to see the current channel number on the PTV screen.
Also press to clear the PTV screen after control adjustments.
Source button
Press to quickly select Auxiliary source inputs on the PTV
(AUX1 VIDEO; AUX2 VIDEO; etc.), as well as Antenna
A/B inputs on the PTV.
100+ button
Press to select channel numbers above 99. Example:
press +100; 2; 3 for channel 123.
menu buttons
Press the Menu (or ok) button to show on-screen controls.
Press ok ▲ or ▼ buttons to move up (or down), the ok

or
ᮣ to move left (or right) through the list of controls.
PIP buttons
Press to operate Picture-In-Picture features. See “PIP”
section in your other owner’s manual for details on to
show two TV programs on screen at the same time.
Guide Plus+® buttons
Press to use the GUIDE Plus+ electronic guide for TV
program listings and information. Refer to your sepa-
rate GUIDE Plus+ information manual for setup and
use details.
scroll arrows
Press to move to the next (or
previous) page of Pronto
controls. The touchscreen
will display the current con-
trol screen’s page number,
and the total number of pages
available for the selected
device (1/5; 2/5; etc.)
