Pause mode

Press PLAY/PAUSE (9). To return to the
playback press it once more.

Stop of Cd or USB playback

Press STOP (8).

PROGRAM PLAyBACK (MP3)

You can program playback of up to 20 tracks at
the desired order. At first, choose STOP of CD or
USB playback.

. Press PROG. (8) once.
2. Press FOLDER UP (0) to choose the desired

folder.

3. Press SKIP Next or SKIP Back (6)/(5) to

choose the track which you want to program.

. Press PROG. once more. Track from folder

2 will be programmed.

5. Continue creation of the program the same

way.

View of programs

Press PROG. (8) several times. Tracks which
correspond to the program will appear on the
display.
6. Press PLAY/PAUSE (9) to start playingback

of the program.

Note: Press PROG. (if the programmed tracks

are not removed), press PLAY/PAUSE playback

of the program will start again.

Cancellation of the program

Press STOP(8) to cancel the created programs
(or open CD disc slot or take out USB or turn to
another source of sound).

CASSETTE PLAyBACK

. Set FUNCTION (22) at TAPE position.
2. Press STOP/EJECT (2) to open the cas-

sette slot. Insert the cassette and close the
slot.

3. Press PLAY (2) to start playback of the cas-

sette.

. Press STOP/EJECT (2) to stop playback.

Quick rewind of the cassette (forward or
backward)

Press REW or F.FWD (2).

Pause

Press PAUSE (2).
Press PAUSE once more to start playback
again.

RECORdING OF THE CASSETTE FROM RA-
dIO

. Set FUNCTION (22) at TUNER position.
2. Repeat steps 2 and 3, from “RADIO” para-

graph to adjust to the desired station.

3. Set an empty cassette in the slot.
. Press RECORD and PLAY (2) simultaneously

to start recording.

5. Press STOP/EJECT to stop recording.

RECORdING THE CASSETTE FROM Cd OR
USB

. Set FUNCTION (22) at DISC position

and press CD/USB to choose CD or USB
playback.

2. Set a CD in the CD disc slot or insert USB in

the jack.

3. Set an empty cassette in the slot.
. Press RECORD and PLAY (2) simultane-

ously.

5. Press PLAY/PAUSE (9) to start playback of

the tracks which you want to record from a
CD or USB.

6. Press STOP/EJECT to stop recording and

playback of the tracks from a CD or USB

Note:

Return to the cassette playback mode, wind

the cassette to the beginning to listen to the

recorded tracks.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETy
Precautions & General Maintenance
• Place the set on a hard and flat surface so

that the system does not tilt.

• Do not expose the set, batteries or CDs to

humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused
by heating equipment or direct sunlight.

• Do not cover the set. Adequate ventilation

with a minimum gap of 6 inches between the
ventilation holes and surrounding surfaces is
necessary to prevent heat build-up.

• The mechanical parts of the set contain self-

lubricating bearings and must not be oiled or
lubricated.

• To clean the set, use a soft dry cloth. Do not

use any cleaning agents containing alcohol,
ammonia, benzene or abrasives as these
may harm the housing.

Cd player and Cd handling
• The lens of the CD player should never be

touched!

• Sudden changes in the surrounding temper-

ature can cause condensation to form and
