solutions do not solve the problem.

The machine does not turn on.
The machine is not connected to the electric network.
Connect the machine to the electric network.
The pump is very noisy.
No water in the tank (Section 4.3).
Refi ll with water.
Coff ee is too cold.
The brew button light (4) was off when the button (4)
was pressed.
Wait until the light turns on.
The fi lter holder is not inserted for preheating (Section
5).
Preheat the fi lter holder.
The milk does not froth.
Not suitable milk.
Check the fat content.
The coff ee is brewed too fast,
crema does not form.
There is too little coff ee in the fi lter holder / the grind
is too coarse.
Add coff ee (Section 5).
Coff ee is old or not suitable.
Use a diff erent blend (Section 6).
Coff ee is not brewed or brewed in
drips only.
No water.
Refi ll with water (Section 4.3).
The grind is too fi ne.
Change the type of coff ee used.
Coff ee tamped in the fi lter holder.
Shake the ground coff ee.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter holder.
Reduce the quantity of coff ee using the measuring
scoop.
The “hot water/steam” knob (6) is open.
Close the knob.
The machine has limescale build-up.
Descale the machine (Section 10).
The upper fi lter is clogged.
Clean the fi lter element.
The fi lter in the fi lter holder is clogged.
Clean the fi lter (Section 9).
Coff ee fl ows out of the edges.
The fi lter holder is incorrectly inserted in the brew unit. Insert the fi lter holder correctly (Section 5).
The upper rim of the fi lter holder is dirty.
Clean the rim of the fi lter holder.
The gasket of the boiler is dirty or worn.
Clean or replace the gasket.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter holder.
Reduce the quantity of coff ee using the measuring
scoop.
