Sickle Bar PRE-OPERATION Inspection

Before conducting the inspection, make sure the tractor engine is off, all
rotation has stopped and the tractor is in park with the parking brake
engaged. Make sure the mower is resting on the ground or securely blocked
up and all hydraulic pressure has been relieved.

The Operator’s Manual is in the Canister on the mower
All Safety Decals are in place and legible
The Mounting frame bolts are in place and tight
The Sickle bar connection bolts & pins are tight
There are no cracks in bar or frame
The Hydraulic Cylinders pins are tight
The Hydraulic Valve hose connections are tight
There are no leaking or damaged hoses
The Hydraulic Oil level is full
There is no evidence of Hydraulic leaks
The knives are not broken, chipped, cracked or bent
The clips, ledger plate & knives are properly adjusted
The Rock guards are in place and tight
The Hydraulic motor mounting bolts are tight
The Knife drive gearbox has been lubricated
The Knife wear plates have been lubricated
The Skid shoes are in good condition & tight
DO NOT OPERATE an UNSAFE TRACTOR or MOWER
