To search through the speed dial entries
Do not put a document in the document
feeder.
You can dial without lifting the handset
Press the Speed dial button. Display shows
TEL CALL
CODE OR < >
Press to scroll through the entries until the
one you want is displayed.
The number is dialled.
When you hear your call being answered,
lift the handset and talk.
To make a speed dial call
Do not put a document in the document
feeder.
You can dial without lifting the handset.
Press the Speed dial button.
Enter speed dial code you want. The
telephone number (if stored) is displayed
and dialled.
When you hear your call being answered,
lift the handset and talk.

To put a caller on hold
You can put a caller on hold while you talk
to someone else close by.
Press to put your caller on hold.
Your caller will hear a beep, and will not be
able to hear you.
Press again to resume your conversation.

To dial a one-touch phone number
Do not put a document in the document
feeder.
You can dial without lifting up the handset.
Press and hold the memory location
number you want until the telephone number
(if stored) is displayed. The number is
automatically dialled.
When you hear your call being answered,
lift the handset and talk.

You can dial by all methods by lifting the handset
first if you wish.
For one touch and speed dial numbers use the speed
dial button.
