Function Hotkeys
You can use the function hotkeys to access commonly used functions or make quick settings. To use the hotkeys, press and hold the Fn key at
the lower left corner of the keyboard, and then press the desired hotkey.
Fn + F1 Puts Joybook into standby mode (the
hard disk and screen will be tempo-
rarily turned off to conserve power).
Fn + F6 Activates or deactivates the speakers. Fn + F11 Fast rewinds through the media con-
tent on the CD in the optical drive.
Fn + F2 Enables/disables wireless LAN func-
tion.
Fn + F7 Decreases speaker volume. Fn + F12 Fast forwards through the media con-
tent on the CD in the optical drive.
Fn + F3 Switches display between the screen
and an external monitor/projector, or
allows simultaneous display.
Fn + F8 Increases speaker volume.
Fn + F9 Plays/pauses the playback of the CD in
the optical drive.
Esc Press this key during startup to open
the boot device menu.
Fn + F4 Decreases screen brightness. Fn + F10 Stops playing the CD in the optical
drive.
Fn + F5 Increases screen brightness. F2 Press the this key during startup to
enter the BIOS setup menu.
