Sending a text message to a mobile
This is the same as sending a text message to another
fixed line phone:–
1. Write message, press Option .
2. Select Send to and press OK .
3. Enter number of mobile you want to send to and
press Send .
Replying to a text message received from a mobile
Just use the Reply option as you would for a message
from another fixed line phone (see Reading SMS texts,
below).
Reading SMS texts
When you receive a new text message, the display shows
NEW SMS MESSAGE . To read it later, press CLEAR. The
display returns to standby and shows instead of the
date and time.
1. Press MENU. Display shows SMS TEXT MESSAGING .
Press OK.
SMS texting
You will not be able to receive text
messages until you have first sent
a message. The first sent message
registers you with the text service.
