To first-time users
In order to familiarize first-time users of this unit with particularly important
features and functions, the following information has been abstracted from
the main Operating Instructions.
We strongly urge you to read and understand these points before attempting
to operate the unit.
Startup time required when turning power on
• Press the /I STANDBY/ON button on the front panel.
The unit turns on.
The button’s central power indicator will flash slowly.
About twenty seconds after turning on the power, the following screen appears.
About one minute is required between turning the power on and completion of
startup.
Setting Quick Start Mode to On will allow faster startup. For details, see
Changing the Quick Start Mode on Operating Instructions.
Important
The unit’s controls will not respond during the approximate one minute required
until startup is completed.
Playing music via a USB connection to a computer
N-50 only
Important note regarding the use of a USB connection between this unit and a
computer in order to play music files located on the computer.
When using this connection to input audio files from a computer to this unit, it
may be necessary to install a special driver on the computer. For details, see the
website of Pioneer.

Durée de mise en marche après la mise sous tension
• Appuyez sur le bouton /I STANDBY/ON du panneau avant.
L’appareil est mis sous tension.
Le voyant central du bouton clignote lentement.
Environ 20 secondes après la mise sous tension, l’écran suivant apparaît.
Environ une minute est nécessaire entre la mise sous tension et la fin de la
phase de démarrage.
Le fait de régler Quick Start Mode sur On (activé) permettra une mise en
marche plus rapide. Pour plus d’informations, consultez la section Changement
du mode Quick Start dans le mode d’emploi.
Important
Les commandes de l’appareil n’agiront pas pendant une minute environ, durée
requise pour effectuer la mise en marche.
Lecture de musique via une connexion USB à un
ordinateur
N-50 seulement
Remarque importante relative à l’emploi d’une connexion USB entre cet appareil et
un ordinateur pour lire des fichiers musicaux mémorisés sur l’ordinateur.
Lorsque vous utilisez cette connexion pour fournir des fichiers audio d’un ordinateur
vers cet appareil, l’installation d’un pilote de périphérique spécial sur l’ordinateur

Die nachstehenden Informationen wurden der Bedienungsanleitung zu dem
Zweck entnommen, den erstmaligen Benutzer dieses Gerätes mit den wichtig-
sten Merkmalen und Funktionen vertraut zu machen.
Es wird dringend angeraten, die folgenden Hinweise vor der Inbetriebnahme
des Gerätes aufmerksam durchzulesen.
Nach dem Einschalten der Stromzufuhr zum Hochfahren
erforderliche Zeit
• Drücken Sie den Schalter /I STANDBY/ON an der Frontplatte.
Das Gerät schaltet sich ein.
Die LED in der Mitte des Schalters blinkt in langsamem Tempo.
Etwa 20 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten des Gerätes erscheint der
nachstehend abgebildete Bildschirm. Der Vorgang des Hochfahrens nach dem
Einschalten beansprucht ca. eine Minute.
Das Hochfahren des Gerätes kann beschleunigt werden, indem die Funktion Quick
Start Mode (Schnellstart-Modus) aktiviert (On) wird. Einzelheiten hierzu finden Sie
im Abschnitt Einstellen des Schnellstart-Modus in der Bedienungsanleitung.
Wichtig
Die Bedienelemente des Gerätes sind ca. 1 Minute lang nicht funktionsfähig, bis
das Hochfahren abgeschlossen ist.
Wiedergabe von Musik über einen USB-Anschluss an
einen Personalcomputer
Nur N-50
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Verwendung eines USB-Anschlusses zwischen diesem Gerät
und einem PC zur Wiedergabe von Musikdateien, die auf dem PC abgespeichert sind.
Bei Verwendung dieses Anschlusses zur Eingabe von Audiodateien von einem
PC an dieses Gerät kann die Installation eines Spezialtreibers auf dem PC
erforderlich sein. Einzelheiten hierzu finden Sie auf der Pioneer-Website.

Tempo richiesto per l’accensione dell’unità
• Premere il pulsante /I STANDBY/ON del pannello anteriore.
L’unità si accende.
L’indicatore di alimentazione centrale del pulsante lampeggia lentamente.
Circa venti secondi dopo aver acceso il sistema appare la seguente schermata.
Dall’accensione al completarsi dell’avvio trascorre circa un minuto.
Impostando Quick Start Mode (Modalità di avvio veloce) su On l’avvio sarà
più rapido. Per dettagli, consultare la sezione Cambio di Quick Start Mode delle
Istruzioni per l’uso.
Importante
I comandi di questa unità non rispondono durante il minuto circa richiesto per
il completamento del suo avvio.
Riproduzione di musica via collegamento USB ad un
computer
Solo N-50
Nota importante riguardante il collegamento USB di questa unità ad un
computer per riprodurre file musicali memorizzate in quest’ultimo.
Se si usa questo collegamento per ricevere file audio da un computer in questa
unità, potrebbe essere necessario installare un driver nel computer. Per dettagli,
