WARNING:
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are supervised.
• If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, remove the mains
plug after use as water represents a hazard. This also applies
when the hair dryer is switched off.
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a
fault current protection device (FI/RCD) with a rated current of
not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom.

Use the hair straightener with or without
mains cable
With mains cable
1. Connect the mains cable adapter to the hair straightener
socket.
2. Guides “A” on the adapter and on the hair straightener
must fit together.
3. Press the “B” buttons if you want to unplug the adapter
again from the hair straightener.
Without mains cable
1. Connect the mains cable adapter to the socket on the
base station.
2. Guides “A” on the adapter and on the base station must
fit together.
3. Put the hair straighener into the base station. The socket
should point downwards.
4. Press the “B” buttons, if you want to unplug the adapter
again from the base station.
