On the products you will find symbols that indicate warnings or provide information:
WARNING OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not use this device near baths, wash basins or other vessels containing
water.
WARNING:
• The nozzle becomes hot during use!
• If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, remove the mains plug after use as water
represents a hazard. This also applies when the hair dryer is switched off.
• Do not put objects, hair or your hands in front of the air intake opening! The device
can suffer damage despite the overheating protection if the airflow is blocked!
• Please ensure that the inlet grille remains free of fluff and hairs. Danger of fire!
As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection device
(RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom.
Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
Commissioning
1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the mains voltage match.
3. Insert the plug into a duly installed 230 V~, 50 Hz protective contact socket.
