8. From the Wireless Network Properties window, select the type of data encryp-
tion used on the access point. The choices include:

is a simplified but still powerful form of

9. Enter the Network key. Confirm the key, if prompted.
10. If
WPA
is not selected, make sure the check box next to “The key is provided
for me automatically” is activated.
11. Click OK in all open windows to close them.
The Adapter is connected to a secured wireless network.
