The following pages provide precautions and instructions to heed for safe
use of the product. Please read carefully before you turn on the power to
operate the product.
About the symbols
The following symbols are used in this safety information and on product
labelling for proper use of the product, so that you or any other people should
not get physical/property damage.
CAUTION
Ignoring this caution could cause injury or damage to property.
Precautions before use
1. Put away such an object as a nameplate or tie into your clothing if
hanging down from your neck, so that it should not touch the machine
internal.
2. Tie back long hair and keep it away from the machine; otherwise an
unexpected accident may be caused.
3. When operating the machine to make booklets manually, always be sure
to keep anyone other than the operator away from the machine.
4. Never allow anyone other than the operator to be close to the machine.
