Confirm that the printer driver name of this printer is displayed in the
Driver List, and the connection form of the computer and the printer is dis-
played in the Port List. Then click [Start Download] button.

If nothing is displayed in the Driver List and the Port List, the
printer driver is not correctly installed. Reinstall the printer driver.

With a USB connection, USB is displayed in the Port List.

Click [OK] button to begin transferring the firmware.
The message window on the printer control panel changes into “CON-
TROLLER FW / UPDATING”.

Do not turn off the printer while its firmware is being updated.

The message window on the printer control panel changes into “CON-
TROLLER FW / DWLD COMPLETE” when the firmware update is com-
pleted.
Click button, and finish the firmware updater.
