Computer/connectivity problems
You cannot take
a picture ■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
■ Press the Shutter button all the way ( page 8 ).
■ Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or insert a new
one (
page 2 ).
■ Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer ( page 37 ), delete
pictures from the camera ( page 25 ), switch image-storage
locations ( page 19 ), or insert a card with available
memory ( page 7 ).
Picture orientation is
not accurate ■ Set the Orientation Sensor ( page 21 ).
Flash does not fire ■ Check flash setting, and change as needed ( page 14 ).
Battery life is short ■ Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one ( page 2 ).
Camera displays an
error code ■ Press the Shutter button all the way ( page 8 ).
■ Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery fully ( page 2 ).
■ Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer ( page 37 ), delete
pictures from the camera ( page 25 ), switch image-storage

not communicate with
the camera ■ Turn on the camera.
