Changing picture-taking settings
You can change settings to get the best results from your camera.
1 Press the Menu button. (Some settings are unavailable in some modes.)
2 Press
to highlight the setting you wish to change,
then press the OK button.
3 Choose an option, then press the OK button.
4 Press the Menu button to exit.

Self-Timer
Create a 10-second delay
before the picture or video
is taken.
Unavailable in Burst mode.
Exposure Compensation
Choose how much light
enters the camera.
This setting remains until you
change modes or turn off
the camera.
If pictures are too light, decrease the value. If
pictures are too dark, increase the value.
NOTE:
When the camera screen is on, you can also press
then
to adjust exposure
compensation. Press
again.
Exposure Compensation returns to zero if
Long Time Exposure is set.
Burst
Take up to 4 pictures in
quick succession
(approximately 2.4 fps).
This setting remains until you
change to Video mode or
turn off the camera.

Press the Shutter button halfway and
hold to set the auto-focus, exposure, white
balance, and orientation for all the pictures
in the sequence.

Press the Shutter button the rest of the
way down and hold it to take the
pictures.
Stops taking pictures when the Shutter button
is released, when 4 pictures are taken, or
when storage space is full.
Flash, Self-Timer, and Long Time Exposure are
disabled in Burst.
Unavailable in Video mode.
