Secure strap to both strap buttons, hang on
shoulder like so... Insert batteries with the correct
polarity, as shown, and then slide the
power switch to the ON position.
Press and release the
HOME Button to turn
ON the
Keyboard Controller.

Wait for dongle LED to flash blue.
Press and release
the Keyboard's Controller
Connect (Sync) Button.

Insert the dongle into the console's USB port.
Press and release the dongle Sync Button.

5 Once connected, the dongle LED will remain steady and a player number will be assigned to the Keyboard Controller.
At the end of a play session, remove the dongle from the Wii console. 6
