For the COM adaption of the WIKA_T12 software,
administrator rights are required.
6. Virtual COM ports of the PU-448
The PU-448 forms a virtual COM port on your PC. It is usually located
between COM3 and COM10.
The WIKA configuration software WIKA_TT and WIKAsoft-TT list the
allocated COM port automatically under the “Interface” heading. The
interface mentioned (to be found under “WIKA_TT” under Options/
Interface/Port/Settings) must be selected and confirmed.
However, the WIKA configuration software WIKA_T12 can only
operate COM1 or COM2. This is why the COM ports on your PC must
be set.
The setting of the COM ports is carried out as follows:
1. Click on “Start”
2. Search for
the term “Control panel”
and open it via the
“Search programs/files”
box.
