Alarm Operation
The parameters described in this chapter are configured in the
WinPDM/CPDM3 by the system administrator.
Note:The alarm functionality is applicable for DT692 only.
17.1 Push
Button
Alarm
The push-button can be defined to send an alarm by a long press and
by multiple press. By default, long press is defined for test alarm, and
multiple press is defined for personal alarm.
17.1.1 Test
Alarm
Press and hold the push - button until a dialog window Test Alarm is
displayed. The following occurs:
•
a beep is heard
•
the orange LED flashes twice
•
the vibrator stirs
•
the handset calls a pre- defined number or an acoustic location
sound is heard. These features require settings in
WinPDM/CPDM3.
•
the handset receives a notification that the alarm has been received
by the system. This is a system dependent feature.
•
the handset receives a notification that the alarm has been received
by the system. This is a system dependent feature.
•
information about the handset’s location is sent along with the
alarm.
Note: Requires CPDM3
17.1.2 Personal
Alarm
Press and hold the push - button twice or more, the dialog window
Personal Alarm is displayed. The following occurs:
•
a beep is heard
