Precautions
• Cool off the unit beforehand if your car has been
parked in direct sunlight.
• Power antenna (aerial) extends automatically.

About Device Inside Alert
If you turn the ignition switch to the OFF
position without removing the USB device or
iPod, “Device Inside” will appear in the display.
Open the front panel to remove the USB device
or iPod.
If the front panel is detached when the
ignition is turned off.
The Device Inside Alert LED flashes.
Tip
For how to remove the USB device or iPod, see
page 13 (USB), 19 (iPod).
Notes
• The Device Inside Alert will only sound if the built-in
amplifier is used.
• For how to disable the Device Inside Alert function,
