Programming the Remote Control
The remote control is preset to operate Sony brand video equipment.
If you have video equipment other than Sony brand that you want to control with the TV’s remote control,
use the following procedure to program the remote control.

Using the code list at right, find the three-digit code
number for the manufacturer of your equipment. (If
more than one code number is listed, use the
number listed first.)

Open the outside cover and set the A/V slide switch
to
AV1

AV2
,
AV3
, or
DVD
. Then close the cover.

Press the
CODE SET
button.

Using the
0-9
buttons, enter the three-digit
manufacturer’s code.

Press the
ENTER
button.

To check if the code number works, aim the TV’s
remote control at the equipment and press the
POWER
button that corresponds with that
equipment.
