Problem
Possible remedies
Cannot insert the “Memory Stick”
into the “Memory Stick” slot.
• The “Memory Stick” is not facing in the correct
direction. Insert the “Memory Stick” with the

Cannot save a file.
• The “Memory Stick” is full. Delete unwanted image
files in the “Memory Stick.”
• The write-protect switch on the “Memory Stick” is set
to LOCK. Release the lock.
Cannot delete a file or all materials.

to LOCK. Release the lock.
• The image file is protected. Release the protection in the
index Screen.
The still image files in the JPEG
format stored in a “Memory Stick”
