Locking the controls
(HOLD)
When carrying the player in a bag, the
HOLD function can be used to prevent
accidental pressing of the buttons.
Slide the HOLD/BEEP switch in the
direction of the arrow.
“ ” flashes for a while, and all operation
buttons except for the switches on the rear
side are disabled.
To release the HOLD function
Slide the HOLD/BEEP switch in the
direction opposite to the arrow.
Turning off the beep
sounds
(BEEP)
Set the HOLD/BEEP switch to OFF.
To turn on the beep sounds
Set the HOLD/BEEP switch to ON.
It is recommended you set the HOLD/BEEP
switch to ON, as many operations can be
confirmed by beep sounds.
