 Bring the appliance to working position
- secure it, if required, with parking
brakes.
 Ensure that the filter basket has been
inserted properly.
 Set the switch valve to vacuuming.
 Insert the suction hose into the suction
hose connection.
 Attach the desired accessoried to the
suction hose.
 Insert the mains plug into the socket.
 Turning on the Appliance
 Vacuum liquid and chips.
Note:If the liquid container is filled, the suc-
tion turbine is switched off. The filter basket
and the liquid container must be emptied
prior to using the appliance.
 Switch off the appliance and remove
the plug from the socket.
 Drive the appliance to the disposal site
for the liquid.
 Turn switching valve to "Empty".
 Insert the mains plug into the socket.
 Turning on the Appliance
 Route the drain hose to the disposal
unit and carefully open the drain valve.
 After emptying the liquid container,
close the valve on the drain hose and
switch the appliance off.
Dispose of the contents according to the lo-
cal provisions.
 Turn off the appliance.
 Open the tensioning clamps.
 Unlock the lock bolt on the hinge.
 Open the waste container lid complete-
ly.
 Remove the filter basket and empty it.
 Reinsert the filter basket and close the
cover.
 Attach the tensioning clamp and make
sure the cover is properly seated.
 Empty the liquid container.
Dispose of the contents according to the lo-
cal provisions.
Note:A filled filter basket prolongs the pres-
sure emptying process. In order to shorten
the emptying time, empty the filter basket
first.
Note:Water based cooling lubricants can
cause a bacterial contamination. These
sediments can plug up the openings and
gaps in the filter basket. Wear appropriate
protective gear during the removal.

Empty the container and filter basket.
 Remove the sediments from the con-
tainer and the filter basket.
 Dispose of the sediments, container
and filter basket contents according to
the applicable rules and regulations.
 Empty the liquid container.
 Empty the filter basket for solids.
 Switch off the appliance using the On/
Off switch.
 Dismantle the accessory and rinse it
with water and let dry if necessary.
Note: Empty the vacuum cleanter after
each use and let it dry with the container
open.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
When transporting in vehicles, secure the
appliance according to the guidelines from
slipping and tipping over.
