Troubleshooting
Fault
Remedy
Engine does not start
Reduced motor output
Check setting of gas lever
Refuel
Open fuel cock
Drain bad or old fuel from the tank and the carburettor, fill in fresh fuel
Check and clean spark plug, replace if necessary.
Check air filter, clean if required.
Check bowden cable to the motor
Inform Kärcher Customer Service.
Engine is too hot
Have the carburettor adjusted.
Fill in motor oil
Engine is running but machine is
not moving
Adjust the Bowden cable of the acceleration drive
Inform Kärcher Customer Service.
Machine is not sweeping properly Check roller brush for wear, replace if necessary.
Lower or raise the roller brush by means of the height adjustment
Readjust Bowden cable of the sweeping drive
Inform Kärcher Customer Service.
