INFORMATION CODES
The Control Panel displays information codes to help you understand what is occurring with your
dishwasher. If you see any of the codes listed below, you should select the Reset option, and then follow
the instructions in the Solution column.
CODE SYMBOL MEANING SOLUTION
tE Temperature Sensor error Functional error. With the dishwasher empty, add
detergent, and then run a cycle.
If the problem continues, go to your house circuit
breaker panel, set the dishwasher’s circuit breaker
switch to off, and then contact an authorized
Samsung service center.
HE1 Heater error
HE High temperature heating error
PE Half load function error
1E Low water level error
Check for excessive soils in the tub and rearrange
the dishes as recommended.
If excessive soils remain in the tub, clean the soils
and fi lters as described in page 23. And then run a
cycle with detergent.
If the problem continues, close the water supply valve
and go to your house circuit breaker panel, set the
dishwasher’s circuit breaker switch to off, and then
contact an authorized Samsung service center.
7E Refl ector function error
Check if fl atware or dishware interferes with the water
refl ector and the water refl ector does not operate as
a result.
Check if the water refl ector is fi xed by any tape.
If this happens without any interference, close
the water supply valve and contact an authorized
Samsung service center.

Water supply error
Check whether the water supply valve is closed, the
water supply is suspended, or the water inlet valve or
line is frozen or clogged by foreign particles.
If the problem continues, close the water supply
valve, and then contact an authorized Samsung
service center. 4E5
5E (5E1 ~ 5E5) Drain error After closing the water supply valve, Check whether
the drain hose is clogged or folded. Also, check
whether drain hole inside sump is clogged. If the
problem continues, contact an authorized Samsung
service center.
OE Over-level water error
LE Leakage
Functional error. Close the water supply valve and
go to your house circuit breaker panel, set the
dishwasher’s circuit breaker switch to off, and then
contact an authorized Samsung service center.
bE2 Button error
Functional error. Turn off the dishwasher and try to
start it again.
If the problem continues, contact an authorized
Samsung service center.
