Setting the Data Service
It is used to decide whether or not to use the Data Service. When it is set to “Off”, all the functions relating to Data Application are
disabled.
1 Press the MENU button. Press the or button to select “Setup”,
then press the ENTER button.
2 Press the or button to select “Data Service”, then press the
ENTER button.
3 Press the or button to select “Off” or “On”, then press the ENTER button.
Select “Return” by pressing the or button, then press the
ENTER button to return to the previous menu.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
When the current antenna mode is “AIR”, the data service is set to “Off”. When the mode is
changed to “CABLE”, the data service is activated.
When the current antenna mode is “CABLE”, the data service is set to “On”.

• When the current antenna setting is “AIR”, you cannot select “Data Service”
because it is disabled.
• When the data service setting is changed from “On” to “Off”, all the
running Data Applications are closed so you cannot perform any operation
relating to data services.
