Find
If you’ve stored a name entry in your Phonebook, Find allows
you to find it quickly.
1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu , then
press , for Find .
2. Use the navigation key to select the method by which to
find the entry. The options listed in the following table
are available.
Find by Name
1. Enter the name of the person as they are entered in your
Phonebook. For example, if you saved the name as
Amy Smith, begin the search pressing
.
As you enter letters, the entry number and names of the
closest matches (thus far) appear in the display.
2. When the desired entry appears in the display, highlight
the number using the navigation key (if necessary).
3. Press to dial the number associated with the name.
4. Press to view information about the entry.
5. Press the left soft key ( ) Option to display the options
listed in the following table.
Find Function
By Name
Search the Phonebook alphabetically
by name.
By Entry Search the Phonebook by entry number.
By Group
Search the Phonebook by selecting from
one of the five available groups.
Option Description
Edit Edit details of the highlighted name.
