DESCRIPTION
This housing is used for applications in
environments that are especially exposed to acts
of vandalism.
It is made of 2.5 mm-thick sheet steel and oven-
painted with epoxy polyester powder.
Its 360° opening simplifies installation and
maintenance operations, making the camera,
lenses and all the connections easily accessible.
This housing is compatible with 1/2”, 1/3” and
1/4” cameras available on the market, with
either fixed focus or small zoom lenses.
The lock for opening and closing the housing is
located on the front and can be supplied with
either a universal or a uniquely coded key for
each housing.
The camera looks through scratchproof,
shatterproof polycarbonate glass, which is
further strengthened by mounting it on a metal
frame.
For the cable outlet it is possible to use the three
M20 cable glands on the back. It is also possible
to make a hole (left incomplete during
production) directly on the base of the housing
(Fig. 10).
An optional heater, camera power supply and
alarm switch (set off when the housing is
opened) are available.
