Housing for big lenses
INTRODUCTION
We a t h e r p r o o f h o u s i n g f o r C C D c a m e r a ,
e n t i r e l y c o n s t r u c t e d o f s t a i n l e s s s t e e l ,
enclosed by 2 heavy duty flanges. The back
flange allows the cables to run though 4
PG13,5 cable glands.

INSTALLATION
How to open the housing
To open the housing unscrew the bolts on the
bottom flange (Fig. 1) using the hexagonal
spanner supplied.
The access into the housing can be both from
t h e b a c k f l a n g e a n d f r o m t h e f r o n t o n e .
When the housing is opened remove the slide
block (Fig. 2, point 2) and slip off the inner
slide using the relevant fixing slit (Fig. 2,
point 3).
Opening the housing from the
frontal flange pay attention to
the PTC heating (see the marks
shown on the labels).
How to install the camera
This chapter described how to install the
camera into the housing.
1. O p e n t h e h o u s i n g a s d e s c r i b e d
previously.
2. Fit the camera on the slide, using the
insulating plate and the supplied 1/4”
s c r e w ( F i g . 3 ) . I f n e c e s s a r y, u s e t h e
spacers to position the camera and optics
correctly.
3. Feed the cables through the cable grip,
a n d m a k e t h e n e c e s s a r y e l e c t r i c a l
connections, ensuring that the cable grips
are holding firmly.
Version 12VDC/24VAC: When the power
supply voltage is 24VAC the circuit will
be connected by the terminals shown in
the diagram in Fig. 4.
Version 230VAC: When the power supply
voltage is 230VAC the circuit will be
connected by the terminals shown in the
diagram in Fig. 5.
4. Close the housing, taking care not to
damage the seals (ensure that they are
c o r r e c t l y f i t t e d i n t h e i r r e s p e c t i v e
positions).
Installing the housing
T h i s s e c t i o n d e s c r i b e s h o w t o i n s t a l l t h e
housing on the wall bracket or on the Pan &
Tilt head.
1. Sunshield mounting: screw the equipped
exagonal mounting spacers on the side-
f l a n g e s o f t h e h o u s i n g ( F i g . 6 ) i n
diametrically opposite position in order to
mount the sunshield above the housing.
Fit the sunshield on the housing and fix it
with the equipped screw on the spacers.
2. Mount the housing on the wall bracket
(Fig. 8) or on the Pan & Tilt head bracket
(Fig. 7).
