18.2 Windows Network Configuration
Determine Basic Information about Your Network
Ensure that the DVR is properly connected to the router/modem and that
you have a Windows computer connected to the same router.
Follow the next steps to determine the basic information about your
network.
1. Select the start menu on your computer screen. Type cmd in the
“Search programs and files” field and press enter. On certain
computers you can select RUN from the start menu and type cmd
and press enter.
2. In the command prompt window, type ipconfig and press Enter.
3. Find the
section called “Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection”.
