Configuring OSCAR
You can configure your DSR system from the Setup menu. Below Configure,
select the Names button when initially setting up your DSR system to identify
servers by unique names. Select the other setup features to manage routine
tasks for your servers from the OSCAR menu.
To access the Setup menu
1. Press Print Screen to launch OSCAR. The Main dialog box appears.
2. Click Setup. The Setup dialog box appears.

Setup Features to Manage Routine Tasks for your Servers
Feature
Purpose
Menu
Change the server listing between numerical by port and alphabetical by name.
Change the Delay Time before OSCAR displays after pressing Print Screen.
Flag
Change display, timing, color, or location of the status flag.
Security
Set passwords to protect or restrict server access.
Enable the screen saver.
Names
Identify servers by unique names.
Changing the display behavior
Use the Menu dialog box to change the display order of servers, set
a time to delay display of the OSCAR GUI after pressing Print Screen
and change the switch connection mode.
