III. MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES
• Plug probe into the PROBE INPUT SOCKET.
• Make sure the PROBE LOCK is in the lock position
• Turn on the instrument by pressing the POWER button.
• Holding the VANE PROBE HANDLE, aim the yellow point on the VANE
PROBE HEAD toward the source to be measured.
• Press the K/J (B) button to select the unit of measure: m/s, hm/h, ft/min,
mile/h, or knots. Measurement results are shown on the upper display
and the unit of measure on the bottom-left of the LCD.
• Press the °C/°F (A) button to select Centigrade or Fahrenheit. The
temperature is on the bottom-right of the LCD.
