Slide the 4” Hanger Clamp over the inlet of the Muffler.

Then install the Muffler over the Extension Pipe and place
the 4” Hanger Clamp into the OEM rubber hangers above
the inlet. (Muffler orientation: Louver openings should face
the rear of the vehicle). Refer to Figures 4 & 5.

Install the Tail Pipe from the rear of the truck, over the axle

and attach to the outlet of the Muffler. Now install the
hangers into the OEM rubber hangers. (Note: ’94-’97 12-
valve trucks may require rear Hanger Assembly – HG6100).
Refer to Figure 6.

Install the remaining Clamps around the pipes where

needed. Do not tighten the Clamps yet.

Install and adjust the Exhaust Tip to suit. Using a 17mm

wrench tighten the lock bolt located on the Exhaust Tip.
Refer to Figure 7.

Align the Tail Pipe and tighten the Clamps starting at the

front and work rearward to secure the system.

Check along the full length of the exhaust to ensure there is

adequate clearance for fuel lines, brake lines and any wiring,
etc. If any interference is detected, relocate or adjust.
