Dieses STEINEL-Produkt ist
mit größter Sorgfalt herge-
stellt, funktions- und sicher-
heitsgeprüft nach geltenden
Vorschriften und anschlie-
ßend einer Stichprobenkon-
trolle unterzogen.
STEINEL übernimmt die
Garantie für einwandfreie
Beschaffenheit und Funktion.
Die Garantiefrist beträgt
36 Monate und beginnt
mit dem Tag des Verkaufs
an den Verbraucher.
Wir beseitigen Mängel, die
auf Material- oder Fabrikati-
onsfehlern beruhen, die
Garantieleistung erfolgt
durch Instandsetzung oder
Austausch mangelhafter Teile
nach unserer Wahl.

Bei Beschädigung der
Anschlußleitung dieses
Gerätes, darf diese nur
durch eine vom Hersteller
benannte Reparaturwerk-
statt ersetzt werden.
Eine Garantieleistung entfällt
für Schäden an Verschleißtei-
len sowie für Schäden und
Mängel, die durch unsach-
gemäße Behandlung oder
Wartung auftreten. Weiterge-
hende Folgeschäden an
fremden Gegenständen sind
ausgeschlossen.
Die Garantie wird nur ge-
währt, wenn das unzerlegte
Gerät mit kurzer Fehlerbe-
schreibung, Kassenbon
oder Rechnung (Kaufdatum
und Händlerstempel), gut
verpackt, an die zutreffende
Servicestation eingesandt
wird.

Reparaturservice:
Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit
oder Mängeln ohne Garatie-
anspruch repariert unser
Werkservice. Bitte das
Produkt gut verpackt an
die nächste Servicestation
senden.

Operating Instructions

í Install metal support

stand. Insert glue stick
(45, 90 or 250 mm).

í Place glue gun on metal

support stand. Place a
cardboard or wood pro-
tective surface under glue
nozzle, if necessary.

í Plug glue gun in. Allow to

heat up for approximately
7 minutes.

í Pull trigger to apply glue

to one side.

í Press with force on the

material being glued and
adjust if necessary.

í After approximately 2 min.,

the glued objects are fully
secured.

í Spot glueing is recom-

mended for large or long
surfaces.

í Foam products (i. e.

styrofoam) can also be
glued successfully, pro-
viding that foam has a
protective or decorative
veneer. (Do not apply
glue directly on foam.)

í For glueing of textiles or

similar materials, apply
glue in a snake-like
(weaving) pattern.

í After use, return gun to

stand and allow to cool.

í Read the instructions for

use through carefully and
completely before using
the device.

í Before starting, examine

the device for signs of
damage (power cable,
housing, etc.). The de-
vice must not be used if
it is damaged in any way.

í Do not leave the device

unattended.

í This device is not intend-

ed for use by persons
(adults and children) with
physical, sensory or
mental impairments or
lacking experience
and/or knowledge of
use unless they are
supervised by a person
responsible for their
safety or have received
instructions from that
person on how to use
the applicator.

í Children should be super-

vised to make sure they
do not play with the
device.

í Use the device in dry

rooms only.

í Do not use in conjunc-

tion with highly inflam-
mable/combustible
materials.

í Do not use liquid or

pasty adhesives!

í The glue temperature

can reach up to 200 °C!
You could burn yourself!
If glue splashes onto the
skin, hold the affected
area immediately under
a jet of cold water for
several minutes! Do not
try to remove glue from
your skin. If necessary,
seek medical attention.

í Wear suitable gloves

while working.

í Materials which cool

rapidly (e.g. stone or
metal), should be pre-
heated.

í The area to be glued

must be free of grease,
dry and absolutely clean.

í Optimum adhesion is

achieved when the bond
is established instantly
on applying the glue.

í Unplug when not in

use or during prolonged
work breaks (more than
30 min.).

í Protruding glue residues

are easily removed with
a heated knife. Always
disconnect the plug
first.

í The adhesive joints can

be painted or varnished.

í Drops of glue are best

removed when cold.
