Symptoms and Questions Possible Cause/Solution
Strong odor y An odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normal for the
first few times the oven is used.
y This is temporary.
Fan noise y The convection fan may turn on and off automatically.
y This is normal. The convection fan will shut off if the door is opened.
Convection fan not working (convection
models) y Preheat temperature not reached.
y Fan will start automatically once the preheat temperature is reached.
y Operates opposite the heating cycle.
y This is normal.
Drawer does not slide smoothly or drags y The drawer is out of alignment.
y Fully extend the drawer and push it all the way in. CARE AND CLEANING
section.
y Drawer is over-loaded or load is unbalanced.
y Reduce weight. Redistribute drawer contents.
