GENERAL RULES

To provide suitable protection the SUOMY 3LOGY must fit perfectly

and be fastened firmly and correctly, so it cannot be removed by being

pulled or turned around. If it is too large it could cover the eyes or turn

sideways when driving, hampering visibility.

Do not use scarves or buffs which could cause the strap to slip or impact the effectiveness of the helmet itself in the event of an impact.

The SUOMY 3LOGYhas been designed for use with most goggles on the market. Helmet fit should however be checked with goggles before

purchasing them.

The purpose of the helmet is to reduce injury to the head in the event of an impact; this occurs through the partial destruction/deformation of

its components (the internal and external polystyrene shells mainly). As a result some of the impact energy is absorbed by the helmet's

components, reducing stress to the wearer's head and limiting/removing the possibility of injury. Obviously helmets cannot provide complete

protection and some impacts can cause such stress that the energy absorbed by the helmet is not sufficient to prevent trauma to the wearer;

no helmet, even one with the highest specification, can protect the head from forces generated by some types of impact.

The integrity of the shell and the interior is essential to ensure maximum performance levels in terms of safety. The SUOMY 3LOGYhas been

designed to absorb impact through the partial destruction of the shell or its parts, which could be damaged after an impact, even though this

damage may not be visible. In the event of additional stress the helmet may no longer provide the maximum level of protection.

Never use a helmet after it has suffered an impact, even if no damage is visible; the helmet should be replaced after any impact.

It is extremely dangerous to modify the helmet by attaching or sticking anything to it. Never cut or make holes in the helmet, insert

screws or paint it.

Do not modify the internal helmet lining, in particular the internal polystyrene padding must never be cut or modified; altering the

structure of the internal polystyrene shell could compromise the helmet's safety characteristics.

Damaged visors can reduce visibility especially if used at night, and should be replaced immediately. Coloured visors must never be used at

night or in conditions with poor visibility. Do not apply stickers or paint to the visor.
