A3. Options port pin assignments
The 15 way D connector located on the back of the SmartView Multiscreen (labelled
OPTIONS / FLASH) provides connections for the remote control module and allows
an external RS232 device to control the SmartView Multiscreen. See section 3.7 for
more details.
Pin 9 = GND
Pin 10 = TXD
Pin 11 = RXD
Other pins to be left unconnected
A.4 Flash upgrade cable connection
The cable connections shown below are to connect either COM1 or COM2 of a PC
to the SmartView Multiscreen to allow flash upgrades.
