1.9 Connectors
This section describes and illustrates the rear panel and internal connectors on
themotherboard.
1. PS/2 mouse port. This green 6-pin connector is for a PS/2 mouse.
2. IEEE 1394 port. This 6-pin 1394 port connects provides high speed
connectivityfor audio/video devices, storage peripherals, or PCs.

4. BIOS Recovery procedure
Please set on the board the BIOS Recovery jumper BIOS-R to 2-3.
Visit the Fujitsu Siemens website to download the latest BIOS file foryour
motherboard and rename it to K8VF.ROM. Save the BIOS file to a floppy disk.
Insert this floppy disk into the floppy disk drive and start the PC.
The BIOS Recovery will start automatically.
When the BIOS Recovery is finished switch off the system.
Set the BIOS Recovery jumper BIOS-R back to 1-2.
Switch the system on and load the dafault setting in the BIOS and save it (by
pressing the DEL key after switch on the system)
