I. OPERATION
Insert batteries and place the scale on a flat surface.
1. Press the [ON/TARE] key.
2. Wait until "0.0” or "0.00" is displayed.
3. Put the object(s) on the weighing platform.
4. Using the [CAL/MODE] key, you can switch
between different weighing units.
II. TARE WEIGHING
(subtracts the weight of a container.)
1. Turn on scale as described above.
2. Place the "tare item" (container) on the platform.
3. Press [ON/TARE] and wait until "0.0" or "0.00" is
displayed.
4. Add the "net-weight-item" (weight of contents only).
III. CALIBRATION
Calibration is not required before first use. Only
calibrate if scale is not weighing properly.
TS-500 - uses a 500g calibration weight
TS-100 - uses a 100g calibration weight (see next
page)
TS-50 - uses a 50g calibration weight
A. TS-50 & TS-500 Calibration:
1. Turn OFF the scale.
2. Press and hold the [CAL/MODE] key and [ON/
TARE] key at the same time until the display shows a
random number (~8000-2000).
3. Release the [ON/TARE] key and [CAL/MODE] keys.
4. Press the ON/TARE key again. The display will
show AL 0 followed by the required calibration weight.
