acceptthetool’splug.Repairorreplacedamagedorworncordsimmediately.
5. CAUTION:Inallcases,makecertaintheoutletisproperlygrounded.Ifyouarenotsureifitis,have
alicensedelectricianchecktheoutlet.

1. Toolswiththreewiregroundingplugs(Fig.1,A)areintendedforuseonacircuitthathasanoutlet
thatlooksliketheoneillustrated(Fig.1,B).
2. Atemporaryadapter(Fig.1,B&C)maybeusedtoconnectthisplugtoa2-polereceptacle(Fig.1,
B)ifaproperlygroundedoutletisnotavailable.
3. Thetemporaryadaptershouldbeusedonlyuntilaproperlygroundedoutletcanbeinstalledbya
qualifiedelectrician.
4. Thegreencoloredrigidear,lug,etc.extendingfromtheadaptermustbeconnectedtoapermanent
groundsuchasaproperlygroundedoutletbox(Fig.1,D).
