4.2.1 Hydraulic Manifold (Two hoses with green bands)
Connect the other pair of 1/2” hydraulic lines to activate the wing lift and lower, and
the standby supply to the shank and wing cylinders. The manifold supply line is
marked with a narrow green band, and the return line is marked with a wide green
band. You must also connect the dump lines (yellow bands) to return hydraulic
fluid back to the tractor. One dump line is a 1/2” line from the (optional) fan case
drain. The other dump line is a 1/2” line from the manifold. The dump lines must
return to the tractor
unrestricted. Failure to do so can cause damage to the
hydraulic cylinders or fan motor.
This tractor lever is locked in full pressure position while seeding.
4.2.2 Case Drain(s) (One hose with yellow band)
You must also connect the case drain line (yellow band) to return hydraulic fluid
back to the tractor reservoir. The case drain line is a 1/2” (13 mm) line from the
hydraulic manifold. The case drain line(s) MUST return to the tractor
UNRESTRICTED.. Failure to do so can cause damage to the hydraulic cylinders
or fan motor and will void Manufacturer’s Warranty.
NOTE: Do not plug this line for storage; damage to the gauges and
manifold may occur.
